LOOK INSIDE DIOR’S NEW CONCEPT STORE IN DUBAI

Dior has unveiled its latest concept store situated in Dubai. The open space was created in collaboration with WASP, a 3D printing company.
Set up on the beautiful Jumeirah beach, the store features a unique installation of two circular modules made of clay, sand and raw fibers. In true Dior fashion, the boutiques are covered with the house’s signature Cannage motif. Inside, Maria Grazia Chiuri‘s designs are displayed along with Dior Maison offerings adorned with the brand’s “Toile De Jouy” pattern. The rest of the space is decorated with white beach chairs and other neutral-toned furniture.
The 3D Pop-Up Store Features Serene & Sustainable Architecture
The store highlights a rare installation of two circular modules made of clay, sand and raw fibres. In true Dior fashion, the boutiques are wrapped with the house’s signature Cannage motif. Inside, Maria Grazia Chiuri‘s designs are displayed along with Dior Maison gifts. They are adorned with the brand’s ‘Toile De Jouy’ pattern. The remaining space is decked up with white beach chairs and other nude-toned furniture. The Dubai Expo 2020 pop-up store project is built with two cylindrical modules.
The Crane WASP Exemplifies A Unique Irony Of Creative Collaboration With Dior
The stunning pop-up store resembles two half-moons being connected together. That’s exactly how it showcased itself. Many 3D-printed architecture projects rely on concrete. Which comes with a huge carbon footprint. The mission was predetermined to create sustainable structures with luxury aesthetics. The irony is that WASP grew this technology to join hands with sustainability. Not just that but even low-cost housing in the world’s poorest areas. In terms of creating eco-friendly architecture, WASP has been making prominent headway in its corporate mission. Then comes Dior, a company that symbolizes the world’s most refined luxury.
